stop & smell the roses

Bibi & Babu left this morning and two girls cried for a good twenty minutes after their van pulled away but we had a fun weekend together.  Armed with the free pass from the library we finally checked out the Chicago Botanic Gardens along with approximately 1 billion other Chicagoans.  It was a beautiful day and the girls loved the flowers, gardens, and wide open spaces to frolic. The weather was positively fabulous and we all enjoyed ourselves (and I only had to puke in a rose bush once).

A beautiful day spent with family. A good reminder to stop and smell the roses.
