America: musts

When we decided to come back to the US we asked Anni what she was must excited about doing in America. Of course "seeing Bibis'" was tops on her list followed closely by 2. ice skating and 3. going to a movie theater. Definitely two things you ain't doing on our island. I guess this day made a big impression last year and so my mom found a rink and my brother and his girlfriend came down to make her dream a reality. Spoiled rotten kid. At first there were many tears because as is often the case it is harder than it looks but after about 20 minutes she was rockin' it. Papa was so proud of her which solicited many smiles and grins and by the time everyone showed up she was pretty much showing off her mad skills. And with the help of some borrowed mittens from the lost and found to combat our forever unprepared-ness she skated for 2 hours!

Ice skating, then eating white chicken chili with family, and we ended the day by seeing Great Grandparents. Good family stuff.
