Virginia Beach

 

30 seconds after this 1st photo 2 kids & I were in tears. My camera was precariously balanced on my camera bag while I try to use a remote timer to grab a few family images. My people were not having it.

𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗲. 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁. 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘄.

Never believe the lie that someone else has it all together. Family is beautiful AND messy & it makes me cry a lot. And we learn to be resilient, laugh, & forgive.

We headed to Virginia Beach with family for a week to celebrate my sweet niece's 2nd birthday and squeeze her because we do not get to do it nearly enough. My parents just moved to this amazing house and welcomed our crazy crew to crash it! Jason and I also celebrated 20 years of marriage July 7th- mind blowing to me it has been that long! My family graciously offered to watch our crew while we had a night on the beach- we actually realized the last time we stayed ONE THE BEACH was for our 10 year anniversary which was during our time in East Africa. Being on eth beach is my happy place!
