no matter what

God is good and His mercy endures forever.

I almost lost my husband and our girls on Saturday.  But God saw fit that they get to remain here with me, He has much more for them and us and He counted us worthy to suffer for a time.  There are no words I have now to adequately explain how I feel.  As I type on a borrowed laptop from a hospital we were medivac-ed to in Dar our girls are sleeping peacefully and Jason is resting.  I want to scream: Jesus touched their bodies and is healing them.  They are here with me and it is a miracle.  One I am still pondering in my heart.  I would still be praising Him if things were different and I was clearly shown that too in the hours between their accident and us knowing anything about their condition.  God is good.  Thank you for everyone from Tanzania to America, from Europe to Asia, and everywhere in between that is lifting our family up- we feel it and it is humbling.  God does not leave us or forsake us and He is good.  Say it with me today.

God is Good! All the Time! And you never really know if you mean it until the Lord forces your hand, and then suddenly you *know*. He is good. All the time. I love you all so much, and my heart is just bleeding for you while it thumps praise for our God.

I saw Annie's facebook post and haven't stopped praying since. Praise God that they're all okay. I can't imagine how traumatic this must be for you all.

You'll certainly be overwhelmed with comments. I've written an email, commented on facebook, and can't refrain from commenting again here, because it is something I can do...the only thing. How we long to be there, wrapping our arms around you, giving you food, coloring with the girls. Lots and lots of prayers going up and rejoicing in a God who is big enough to hear THEM ALL!

I can't believe the strenght you have had in dealing with all of this, honey. The first 24 hours had to be so scary and horrifying, but your faith is indestructable and it is awesome to witness from afar. Thank God they are all going to be healed with His mercy. Those girls have been through so much. God indeed has special plans for them and you and Jason. Can't wait to get you home to hug and hold, and not let go!!

Again, I know you don't know me, but I am a friend of Annie's and since hearing the news have been praying non stop for your family. We read your blog everyday and have watched the videos of Evy and the baby chicken/ Evy dancing at least 100 times per my son's request :) I know God is watching over your beautiful family and will keep them safe. I simply pray for fast healing and comfort on your heart.
